Columbia Is Lost, Personnel Safely Home!

As the famous shuttle Columbia re-entered the earth's atmosphere
Something went wrong causing great alarm but not one second of fear.
The seven aboard gave all they could ever give.
For the sake of humanity they sacrificed their right to live.

Commander Rick Husband lead his team into space without being asked.
Pilot William McCool assumed willingly his important task.
Payload Commander Michael Anderson was always willing and ever giving.
Mission Specialist  David Brown always trying to improve our world's living.

Mission Specialist Laurel Clark was mother and wife so devoted to the country
she loved yet willing to pay at any cost.
Combat Pilot Llan Ramon from Israel's Air Force is now with the family he
lost years ago in the Jewish Holocaust.
Kalpana Chawla India's treasure was given to the world with hope for a better
tomorrow.
Only God knows the world's great loss and the cries of those in sorrow.

The Columbia Shuttle left several white trails in the sky.
She first flew in 1981 and in 2003 she burst into pieces and we all wonder
why.
Our flags are lowered as we mourn our lost,
But our journey will continue for we have many bridges yet to cross.

Our nations mourn the loss of these heros for they are not alone.
Other too have paid with their lives and all are safely Home.
I salute each person who gave all they could possibly give.
Each and everyone gave and others continue to give their lives so in peace we
can all live.

The LORD bless you and keep you:
The LORD make His Face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you:
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.
And they shall put MY Name upon the Children of Israel; and I will bless them"
Numbers 6:24-27

Amen and Amen!
